About Us

We first met each other on the first day of high school… on the school bus – for real!  Since then, we’ve grown from English classmates to neighbors to carpoolers to soccer players to college buddies to friends who fell in love and got engaged to hubby & wife and now we’re in the mom & dad stage of our lives (we’ve got two beautiful kids – a son, “the bug” and our girl “the bee”).  Our common ground has always been that we enjoy sharing life’s adventures together and now we have a chance to share some of those adventures (or mundane every day happenings – sorry!) with you.

And what’s with “Jding”?  Well, it’s Joel David or JD plus the beginning of Ingrid’s name… JD +Ing= Jding.  Don’t judge us!  We’re embarrassed to say how long it took us to come up with that…
